What is a condensing boiler?
The term “condensing” or “high efficiency” means the boiler recovers more heat from the amount of energy that is used thereby making it more efficient than conventional boilers. A high-efficiency condensing boiler is the most efficient and economical boiler on the market at the moment. With our knowledge to guide you through the selection process, we can help you to make a long term investment and not a short tem cost. Choose wisely and it will prove to be an investment NOT an expense.
How soon will my boiler be installed?
We don’t employ high pressure sales techniques. We recommend that you carefully considering your options and when you have chosen His Heating as your preferred installers, we will agree a convenient date with you. We understand how difficult it is to arrange time of work for example, which is why we will book a convenient time and date that best suits you.
How long will the install take?
Our surveyor will make a detailed assessment of all the heating work to be undertaken by our own Gas Safe registered engineers. It is at this stage that the surveyor will specify how many days the installation is likely to take.
Will you take away my old boiler and other materials?
At His Heating we will dispose of all your unwanted pipe work, rubbish, old boiler and we recycle everything that we can.
Will the engineers leave my property clean, tidy and SAFE?
All of our engineers have respect for other people’s homes. During the install process, the engineers will use dustsheets and when leaving your property they will always clean up after themselves. We assure you, that the installation is safe to use whenever we leave your property and there will be minimum disruption.
Do you use your own engineers?
Yes – we only use our own central heating engineers and electricians to install your new boiler. We don’t sub contract any our work and all our engineers are time served fully qualified and Gas Safe registered.
When will I have to make payment?
We will ask you to make the full balance payment after our supervisor has come to your property to carry out an inspection. All of our installations are inspected by one of our experienced Supervisors, at this point you will be asked, if you are satisfied with the install and if are confident on how to use your new system? If you are satisfied with the work, that triggers the invoice and a request for payment within the next couple of weeks. This can be made by cash, personal cheque, bankers draft, credit transfer and credit or debit card over the telephone.
How much will I have to put down as a deposit?
We may ask you for a 20% deposit. However, if you wanted to go ahead with our finance option, 0% finance over 12 months – there is NO deposit needed. Finance is subject to status.
Do I have to pay a deposit if I am paying for my boiler on credit?
No you don’t have to pay a deposit if that is the finance option you have selected.
